New Board Member at Dioraphte

Dioraphte is pleased to announce that as of 1 January 2026, Susan Blankhart will join its Board. She succeeds Glenda Nühn, who will step down at the end of her statutory term.

Susan brings extensive international experience to Dioraphte. She served for nearly 15 years as Ambassador of the Netherlands and worked for 34 years at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, serving in multiple countries across all continents. Thereby she gained vast knowledge on development and cultural cooperation as well as insights in social dynamics. Having spent part of her childhood in Indonesia and Egypt, she considers herself a true world citizen. Throughout her career, she has gained deep insight into the lives, cultures, histories, and challenges of people around the world, each with their own complexity. Now retired from government service, Susan is committed to applying her experience to today’s global and local challenges, including poverty, peace, human rights, and gender equality.

Dioraphte warmly welcomes Susan. The foundation looks forward to the energy and expertise she brings to her new role and wishes her every success as she joins the Board.
