Dioraphte is pleased to announce that Derk Lemstra will join its Board as Chairman as of 1 July 2026.
Derk Lemstra is a lawyer and mediator. He is partner at Stibbe in Amsterdam, where he specializes in corporate governance and capital markets. He was Stibbe’s managing partner from 2014 to 2019.
Derk served as Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the KNRM, is Board member of Jumpstart Jr. Foundation, supporting young classical musicians. He has taught securities law at the University of Amsterdam and Leiden University and holds degrees from Columbia University in New York and Leiden University.
Dioraphte warmly welcomes Derk. The foundation looks forward to the energy and expertise he brings to his new role and wishes him every success as he joins the Board.
Dioraphte would also like to express its sincere gratitude to Sahar Yadegari. Over the past year, she stepped into the role of interim Chair alongside her responsibilities as a member of the Board. Her commitment and expertise ensured continuity during a period of transition. With the appointment of the new Chairman, she will continue to serve Dioraphte as a member of the Board.
