Preliminary application

The application process at Dioraphte begins with a preliminary application. Preliminary applications may be submitted for the programme areas Social Initiatives in the Netherlands, Performing Arts, and Cultural Heritage. For Social Initiatives in Africa, we proactively identify potential partners and invite them to submit applications. It is therefore not possible to submit an application without an invitation. For Science & Research, we exclusively fund projects once per year through Calls for Proposals. More information and time planning can be found on our website.

When submitting a preliminary application, a brief description of the project, the target group and an indication of the amount is requested. No attachments need to be added to the preliminary application. It is a brief description of the project, on the basis of which we can conclude whether the application falls within our criteria. We aim to give you a definitive answer on this in the short term, after which you may be invited to submit a full application. If you enter that process, various documents will be requested about the organization and the project. For example projects and an indication of our average donation amounts, please refer to our most recent annual report under ‘annual reports’ on this website..

New applicants are asked for a Chamber of Commerce number and a contact person. Dioraphte prefers to communicate directly with the applicant and not with an externally engaged fundraiser or fundraising agency. Unfortunately, preliminary applications submitted via regular email or postal mail cannot be processed.
